All puppies bred by IndigoMoon Aussies  come with full
health guarantees. We are going to ask many questions,
why... so that we may find the most suitable forever home
for each of our beloved pups. Our puppies will be
temperament tested, and special consideration shall be
given to show/performance homes.
Any puppy sold WITHOUT a spay/nueter contract, shall be
evaluated by IndigoMoon and our respected friends and
breeders. We will follow strict guidelines in our offspring
and are firm believers in breeding select quality to
produce quality. Breeding with no thought to the future of
this breed is not practiced here at Indigo Moon.
The relationship between the puppy buyer and the
breeder should last a lifetime. We are here to answer
questions and to guide you in any way we can.

We live in the beautiful Ozark mountains in
Northwest Arkansas. We are a very small kennel
family owned and operated. My husband and I
have 4 wonderful Aussies. I currently compete in
conformation, and hope to try obedience and
perhaps even agility in the future. Our
philosophy;beauty is as beauty does. We strive
to produce balanced temperaments with sound
structure. We welcome all inquires and are happy
to share all we have learned.

What makes an IndigoMoon puppy a
wonderful pet?
All of our dogs are "family members". I
spent several years owning and learning
about this breed BEFORE I had a litter. I
compete in conformation, therefore I am
constantly aware of the breed standard.
I never feel that I have learned it all, I am still
learning. I ask questions to those who
have already achieved success. Any dog
used in a breeding program is not only
structurally sound, but exemplifies the
breed in by it's intelligence, balanced and
outgoing temperament. Our puppies are
handled and cuddled daily. They are born
in our home, where I sleep the first few
nights. I am home 24/7 during the days
before labor, and the first two weeks of life.
They are exposed to children,
grandchildren, other dogs, noises etc. All
of my dogs receive the highest medical
care possible, including vet checks and all
preventative medicine. I carefully evaluate
each and every puppy, so that I can be
confident of a long, happy life for both my
puppies and new owners.
Breeding is not an "income" for me, in fact,
in most cases, breeding a litter or two a
year actually results in a deficit. I breed first
and foremost for myself, to raise that next
"wonderful" Aussie. I breed secondly to
add to the next generation. And lastly to
share with others the undeniable pleasure
of owning an Australian Shepherd.
Please enjoy your time here on our site,
and we would love to hear from  you.
On January 11, 2007 our beloved Shady left us and
crossed the rainbow bridge.
Thank you to the many friends that sent love and
prayers.
Our lives were enriched by having him, and he will be a
part of us and  live in our hearts forever.
My dear sweet boy, please wait for me; mommy loves
you and I would go through this all again, over and
over just to rub my cheek against your soft sweet face.
